Successful startup weekend together with LUI

We completed an interesting startup weekend organized by LUI - Ljubljana Business Incubator, which was attended by 133 students from various faculties with 30 student ideas and 6 business challenges (including our challenge).

It was held under the auspices of EIT Health between 25 and 27 March together with the Faculty of Economics.

All business challenges: Rok Rok Štular and Miha Čevnik won Merkur Zavarovalnica with ways to bring the profession of insurance agent closer to young people

👉 Iskra Plečko, Andraž Pezdirc and Kaja Gliha won the Spark on the topic of ensuring the circular management of waste sealing mass generated as waste from the production of condensers.

👉 LUI and EIT Health on the topic of active aging: Pika Cvikl, Karla Franco, Sarah Ženko and Tina Košenina. 👉

ZEOS (I am still useful) to promote the reuse of electrical and electronic equipment: Domen Drinovec and Rok Komac.

👉 ZAG Ljubljana and EIT Urban Mobility Hub Slovenia for the development of sustainable solutions for freight transport in urban environments: Matija Žibrik, Aleš Vončina, Neža Lindenbaum and Mojca Kranjčič.

👉 Institute VOZIM on the topic of non-use of mobile phones in traffic: Daša Ravnikar, Teja Fišinger and Aleksander Mihel. The greatest progress in the development of their own ideas during the Startup Weekend was achieved by:

👉 chemical experiments for children (1st place) - @ Neža Sodnik, Matej Jarc, Leon Žagar, Luka Potočnik,

👉 vegetable milk powder (2nd place) and

👉 solving housing problems (3rd place).

All teams received awards, encouragement to continue development and some also an invitation to continue their journey in LUI!
