Renovated E-transformer 2.0 awareness vehicle

As part of our awareness-raising projects, we have already created a traveling classroom in the first project, the so-called E-transformer vehicle that traveled throughout Slovenia. Inside, she revealed to visitors the secrets of electrical and electronic equipment with the help of an implosion exhibition of appliances: TV set, LCD screen, mobile phone, batteries, lamps, vacuum cleaner, refrigerator and washing machine. The exhibition proved to be very meaningful and useful and instructive, as it showed the content of individual appliances in a very plastic way, thus reminding the individual of the importance of separating them.

The E-transformer vehicle was completely renovated for the needs of the third Life project Encourage e-Circle and received an addition in the name: 2.0. As part of the project, we have taken a step forward towards circular management, where we want to encourage households to use other elements of the circular economy such as servicing, reuse, sharing, etc .. The vehicle is now fully open and offers visitors a small museum of appliances. some of which are also interactive, watching educational animations about the circular economy, testing the first computer games, providing advice and services by local service technicians, conducting short interactive workshops and the like. With the new content, we want to show visitors what the devices were like in the past, what they are like today, and what options they have when they no longer need the device.

The implosion-dismantled devices that once reigned in the vehicle have now been given a new place, namely in the Technical Museum of Slovenia in Bistra as part of a temporary exhibition that opened on December 3, 2021. Those who have not yet seen the interior of the previous version mirrors, so they have the opportunity to do so by visiting the museum and the contractors of the project very nicely invite them to come to Bistra on occasion.
