E-transformer - solar multimedia vehicle prepared by ZEOS under the Life+ project Slovenia WEEE Campaign "ODLOČUJ!" is going on a summer tour around Slovenia. With the mission of raising awareness of environmental issues related to the production and use of electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), proper handling of WEEE, and its treatment and recovery (including reuse and recycling) E-transformer will visit the largest Mercator shopping malls throughout Slovenia in July and August. Five two-day events with an interesting program of animation intended for families and especially their youngest members will take place as follows:

E-transformer - a multimedia mobile caravan equipped with solar panels is actually a folding truck, equipped with the latest multimedia and lighting equipment, fully powered by its own solar power plant installed on the roof of the trailer. The latter was enabled and set up by the Slovenian solar company Gorenje Solar. It is a central communication tool of the LIFE+ Slovenia WEEE Campaign project "ODLOČUJ!", jointly financed by the European Commission under LIFE+ and the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture of the Republic of Slovenia.
The interior of the vehicle exhibits a large collection of dismantled WEEE - small household appliances, mobile phones, LCD TV, and other e-equipment, which point the visitors to environmentally harmful substances in such equipment and the importance of proper handling of e-waste.
