A misleading title, though on the spot! We adapted 80 interactive computer terminals with touch screen displays, which were originally used for health insurance needs of patients in Slovenian health centers. They were replaced by newer and more efficient systems, which raises the question: "What will the terminals now?".
ZEOS collected and restored the outdated terminals and is now sending them to elementary schools across the whole of Slovenia. By upgrading some of the hardware and addition of interactive materials to promote the proper management of waste electrical and electronic equipment we will further support awareness raising of youth for the proper handling of such waste. Interactive terminals will be installed at 80 participating primary schools, which will compete for attractive prizes. Terminals are already on the way, the first have already successfully "blended in" the classrooms among students!
