Another get-together with our trusted Eco-school Eco coordinators

The Eco-School program now involves 626 institutions from all over Slovenia. In the school year 2011/12 activities took place that engaged 138,600 children, pupils and 15,850 mentors. The green flag was awarded to 53 new schools and institutions of education. Altogether 560 institutions successfully completed the program with Dr. Danilo Türk, President of Slovenia, awarding the green flags at the closing ceremony. The president pointed out that the environmental education of children is of fundamental importance for our future development.
