Purpose and objectives: The project will establish an inter-regional partnership for the repair and reuse of electronics, which will strengthen the circular economy in the Austrian-Slovenian cross-border region. It will leverage the good practices of the Austrian repair network and Slovenian expertise in e-waste management for more efficient repair of electronic components and thus reuse of damaged devices.
ZEOS's role:
- connecting and educating stakeholders (consumers, utilities, shops, repairers, CPUs…) to ensure that equipment is properly collected and repaired
- providing devices/organizing transportation of collected equipment/components
- organizing social events where consumers will receive practical information on repairs and reuse
Results:
The project is underway.
